I've been there, done that — and I'm here to help.

Leaving the corporate world to launch my own business? Piece of cake, right?

That's why I created The L.E.A.P. Financial Roadmap℠ — a clear, step-by-step framework that blends financial planning with mindset mastery.

We'll help you build a financial plan that doesn't require deprivation or a vow of poverty. You've kicked self-sabotage to the curb and replaced it with unshakeable confidence.

Ready to become self-employed? Let’s talk numbers.

Math isn’t your love language? No worries. We translate confusing numbers into a clear plan.

FAQs

What are the services you offer?

  • S.A.V.E. To Launch Intensive— Our 90-minute Intensive helps you create a personalized Financial Safety Net Plan Savings plan to help financially cover you while you’re self-employed and building your business.

  • The Confident L.E.A.P. Program- Our 90-day coaching program gives you 1:1  in-depth financial guidance, support, tools, and accountability to help you fast-track your self-employment journey. We do this using our proven  L.E.A.P Financial Roadmap℠ .

  • OnTrack- Our ongoing financial coaching program -for those who completed the 90-day coaching program continues to provide you with financial guidance, support, and accountability to reach your personal financial goals.

Do you offer advice?

My services provide the financial guidance you need to make informed financial decisions. We offer education on a variety of financial topics but we do not offer specific investment, insurance, tax or legal advice.

Oftentimes, once we’ve helped educate someone on a topic, coupled with guidance, that person can confidently make financial decisions.

Think of it like this: we’re teaching people how to fish (coaching) vs. giving people a fish (advice).

Even better, most can take what they’ve learned and continue to make informed financial decisions, without us- which is the ultimate goal.

Do I have flexibility in how I schedule The Confident L.E.A.P. Program Sessions?

There are six sessions, each lasting up to 1 hour. The 6th session is a 30-day follow-up. We designed the program to be flexible enough to accommodate different schedules and transition goals.

Most complete the session in about three months, typically broken down into 5 biweekly sessions and one accountability session, 30 days after the 5th session. We’ll work with you to find the best schedule for your needs.

You have unlimited email support and what we can “Unstuck” sessions- short virtual meetings to quickly attack the barrier in your way.

Who do you serve?

My services are for people who want to quit their jobs and become self-employed. I do specialize in serving women, particularly women 40+, to create a financial Safety Net Strategy so they can become self-employed, which, for most, is a full-time service based business.

As a GenxX myself, I understand the unique needs of GenX- repurposing decades of experience, late-career changes, balancing the guidance with retirement right around the corner, being sandwiched between caregiving and adulting children, or the nuances of managing money when older and single.

What’s the difference between a financial coach, financial therapist, and financial advisor (planner, consultant)?

Financial Advisor/Planner/Consultant: focused on investing and helping build and preserve wealth. Not always focused on holistically helping someone align their life’s goals with their financial choices. Long-term future-focused.

Financial Therapist-focused on helping you heal from the past traumas impacting your current financial choices. A therapist focuses on the root causes to get you to a place where your financial behaviors are healthy enough for you to make good financial choices. Primarily past focused.

Financial Coach-a financial coach looks at all of your life, not just your finances to help you use finances as a tool to build the life you want. A coach can offer guidance on a variety of financial topics and help you identify past behaviors impacting your ability to reach your goals, but most are focused on how to get you from where you are now to where you want to be. Present focused with a blend of both past and future.

Additionally, I am both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®), so I can uniquely combine elements of all three into my services. I’m also a Certified Younique Coach, trained to help people design their ideal life.

Can’t I get this information from the internet?

Yes and no. Yes, basic generic financial information can be obtained from the internet and AI.

But once you get the information, you need to:

  • Curate the information specific to your unique situation

  • Filter it to determine what’s good or bad or just outdated information (law changes, etc)

  • Discern if you are getting information from only the speaker’s or writer’s personal experience without the context to know if it will work for you vs. someone who is speaking from years of working with others

  • Know what questions to ask (which is tough when you’re asking questions about a transition you’ve never experienced),

  • Customize it to match your personality, life stage, and goals.

  • Be your own accountability partner to keep yourself on track

These are all challenging to do without a human guide to:

  • Understand the emotional nuances of what’s really behind the questions you are asking,

  • Catch and help with limiting beliefs sensed in questions, statements, and tone of voice when asked

  • Help you align what you're doing with your values.
